Ademco Group, part of Honeywell’s Home and Building Control Business, announces that C&K(r) Systems, a sensor company founded in 1982, will now be known as IntelliSense(r). Official corporate headquarters will remain in Folsom, Calif., with Larry Tracy continuing as president.

IntelliSense was formed as a sales division of the company in 1991 by Ben Cornett, now Ademco Group president. During that time, the division developed the FlexGuard(r) and DUAL TEC(r) Series, which consist of glassbreaks and dual technology detectors.

In 1995, C&K Systems and IntelliSense merged into one company operating under the C&K Systems name. The original IntelliSense team headed by Cornett has been reunited.
