Senstar Inks Deal to Acquire Optellios
Senstar’s acquisition of fiber optic sensing technology provider Optellios is expected to close in April 2014.
OTTAWA, Canada – Senstar Corp., a provider of perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS), has signed a definitive agreement to purchase Optellios, a Newtown, Pa.-based fiber optic sensing technology provider. The transaction is expected to close in April.
Senstar has been manufacturing, selling and supporting perimeter intrusion detection sensor technologies for more than 30 years. Its global reach includes more than 80 countries in tens of thousands of sites such as airports, borders, ports, government sites, correctional facilities, petrochemical and critical infrastructure sites.
