SentryCard FIDO2 Compliance Streamlines Security

In order to meet the FIDO Alliance’s specifications, Sentry Enterprises states the industry group identifies three core directives that are central to the standard: Ease of use, privacy and security, and standardization.

Sentry Enterprises says current authentication models often rely on non-standard protocols, passwords, physical ID cards, smartphone, fobs, pins, and because of this many existing biometric solutions are vulnerable to theft, hacks, and spoofing. It’s FIDO2 certified SentryCard platform however, employs standardized identity protocols that are private, secure, and easy to adopt by security professionals and IT staffs.

The company adds that SentryCard is a decentralized biometric platform that eliminates the need for compromised solutions such as smartphones and passwords. With its decentralized security solution, Sentry Enterprises stresses the SentryCard serves double duty for businesses by allowing organizations to easily adopt FIDO2 passwordless authentication at computers, while also supporting physical access control at doors.

Moreover, Sentry Enterprises asserts that its SentryCard solution is compatible a wide range of existing physical access control systems, and it eliminates the need to replace any existing IT, OT infrastructure or physical access infrastructure.
