The Security Industry Association (SIA) has elected seven industry leaders to its Board of Directors. The new committee members will serve two-year terms on a 16-member board.

“As SIA’s membership evolves to reflect the marketplace, so has our Board, and I’m very excited about our new directors and the knowledge, skills and experience they will bring to our organization,” says the association’s CEO Richard Chace. “All of our new directors represent the vanguard of the security industry, and their strategic counsel will guide us for the next few years.”

Two new members of SIA’s Executive Committee were also elected. Fredrik Nilsson, general manager, Americas, Axis Communications, will serve as secretary, while Rob Zivney, vice president, marketing, Hirsch Electronics Corp., will be the new treasurer.
