SAN JOSE, Calif. — The Security Industry Association (SIA) has elected Quantum Secure Vice President of Business Development and Marketing Laurie Aaron to its board of directors.
Aaron will participate on behalf of Quantum Secure in several SIA working groups and standards initiatives. A strong advocate for convergence of physical security with information security and technology, she previously served as chairperson of the Board of the Open Security Exchange (OSE).
At Quantum Secure, Aaron oversees corporate marketing initiatives and is responsible for developing vertical market programs. She has been directly responsible for large strategic customers such as the San Francisco Airport, Oracle Worldwide, the Empire State Building and the new World Trade Center. Prior to joining Quantum Secure, Aaron served as director of strategic sales for Tyco Fire & Security’s access control and video systems business unit.
