The Security Industry Association (SIA) will host a “Member-
for-a-Day” event at this August’s International Security
Conference (ISC) East that could result in $500 for a
winning entry. SIA says the event is aimed at
introducing electronic security manufacturers,
distributors, service providers and systems integrators to
the benefits of SIA membership.
The event will be held on Thursday, Aug. 25 as part of an
8:30 a.m. networking breakfast at the SIA booth (No. 2003)
in New York’s Jacob Javits Convention Center. One company
will receive a $500 voucher, which may be applied toward
SIA membership or redeemed for the purchase of any SIA
product or service.
ISC East takes place on Aug. 24 and 25.

technologies advance and converge,” said Paul Talley, SIA
Membership Committee chair. “From education and government
relations to research and standards, membership and
participation in SIA programs and events gives members a
definitive business advantage.”
