SIA GovSummit 2018 to Include Keynotes by DHS Senior Officials

Featured speakers include Chris Krebs, the President’s nominee for Undersecretary of the National Protection and Programs Directorate, and Soraya Correra, a chief procurement officer.

SILVER SPRING, Md. — The Security Industry Association has announced the keynote speakers to be featured at the two-day SIA GovSummit, an annual public policy and government security technology conference.

Christopher Krebs, undersecretary (nominee) for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s National Protection and Programs Directorate, and Soraya Correra, chief procurement officer for DHS, will provide remarks on the first day of the event, held June 27-28.

Krebs, who oversees the cyber and physical infrastructure security mission for DHS, will begin addressing attendees at 8 a.m. Correa, who provides leadership, policy, oversight and support for DHS procurement activities and contracting workforce, will address the conference following a luncheon.
