Sandra Jones of Sandra Jones and Co. of
Chardon, Ohio was recently honored by the Security
Industry Association (SIA) of Alexandria, Va. SIA
president Joe Grillo presented Jones with the
coveted President’s Award during the organization’s Annual
Membership Luncheon held on Wednesday, Aug. 24. This
prestigious award is given each year to a deserving person
at the discretion of SIA’s current president.
Grillo, executive vice president of ASSA ABLOY
and president/CEO of the Global Technologies Division, told
those who attended that SIA is the benefactor of Jones’
willingness to contribute of her time, intellect and
experience. In addition to being a two-term president of
the organization, Jones has served in various capacities on
SIA’s Board of Directors for 18 years. She continues to
serve on SIA’s nominating committee and currently serves as
chairperson of SIA’s New Product Showcase. In the past, she
also was the recipient of SIA’s George R. Lippert Award and
is a member of the Security Sales &
Integration Hall of Fame.
