SIA Hosting Post-ISC Motorcycle Ride
ALEXANDRIA, Va.
The Security Industry Association (SIA) is hosting its second annual motorcycle Ride for Education on April 9 in Las Vegas after the close of International Security Conference (ISC) West. The ride is scheduled to leave at 9 a.m. from Las Vegas Harley-Davidson (LVHD).
Participants pay $30, not including motorcycle rental, which will go to the Educational Scholarship Fund distributed by SIA.
According to SIA, riders will enjoy some of America’s most scenic areas during their trip and will receive a catered lunch courtesy of LVHD’s own chef. The ride will end around 6 p.m., when riders can proceed to the Harley-Davidson Café for optional dinner and refreshments.
Participants must book ahead to rent the bike of their choice, and only 50 bikes will be rented out. LVHD has established a special $110 rate for riders who mention the SIA event. All bikes are 2005 models and fees include free unlimited mileage, a helmet and a rain suit.
Riders can also use their own bikes or drive in their cars. All participants must be 25 or older, have a valid motorcycle license, a major credit card and must be able to maneuver a heavyweight motorcycle.
