Joe Grillo, president of the Security Industry Association (SIA) and current president and CEO of ASSA ABLOY Global Technologies, has joined the board of directors for video security compression seller OzVision. Grillo will serve in an advisory role while also continuing his work at ASSA ABLOY, the parent company of access control manufacturer HID Corp.
“Joe will add proven security and vertical market experience to our board. We look forward to benefiting from his track record for establishing technology leadership and growing global brands,” said OzVision CEO Ed Mallen in a statement. “Joe joins our board at an important time as we integrate new technology advancements to meet increasing demand for innovative video monitoring solutions for business and residential environments.”
Grillo has been SIA’s president since July 2004. His two-year term expires in July, when he will be replaced by Bill Gorski, director of business development for Siemens Building Technologies Inc. (SBT).
