SILVER SPRING, Md. and WESTMINSTER, Colo. — PSA Network and Security Industry Association have teamed up to launch The Table, a six-week leadership development experience designed for mid-career and senior leaders preparing to advance into executive roles.

Grounded in real-world security industry challenges, The Table “mirrors best-in-class executive education models and focuses on developing leadership capabilities, exploring emerging industry trends and strengthening professional connections,” according to the joint announcement.

“Some of the most meaningful leadership growth happens when people are given the space to challenge assumptions, expand perspective and learn from leaders outside their own experiences,” says Brooke Erickson, senior director of learning & marketing for PSA Security Network.

“The Table was designed to bring those conversations to life in a way that feels practical, intentional and deeply connected to the future of our industry and our integrators,” she says.

What Will The Table Participants Do?

Participants will engage in “a cohort-based experience that blends executive masterclasses, interactive workshops, facilitated peer discussions and applied strategic problem-solving,” the announcement says.

Through practical, real-world learning and meaningful peer collaboration, the program “strengthens business acumen, supports individual growth and helps move the security industry forward,” according to the joint announcement.

“The Table is an executive-level learning experience designed for emerging leaders to engage weekly with peers and senior security professionals in discussions focused on business strategy and operations,” says Elli Reges, director of learning and development at Security Industry Association (SIA).

“The program is intended to help mid-level professionals (managers and directors) develop the perspective and decision-making approach of senior executives while building practical strategies for growing their organizations and advancing their careers,” she says. “The Table offers an opportunity for participants to think beyond their core responsibilities, identify opportunities to make a broader impact and elevate their leadership capabilities.”

Participants are expected to attend every session, including both virtual and in-person formats.
