The Security Industry Association (SIA) announced it would
debut its latest educational program at this
spring’s ISC West in Las Vegas. The Certified Security
Project Manager (CSPM) program is designed to promote
excellence for project managers in the security industry
through a stringent credentialing class.

A three-part program, CSPM is a combination of educational
training, practical experience and a final examination.

Participants will receive 40 hours of training and 20 hours
of self-study in various industries, including CCTV and
access control systems design and application, and
contracting law, codes and management.

SIA worked closely with the president of Enterprise
Performance Consulting (EPC) to create the program.
