Siemens Building Technologies CEO to Retire, Replacement Named

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill.

The president and CEO of Siemens Building Technologies Inc.
has announced he will be retiring at the end of the year.
Stan Kunka will retire on Dec. 31 and Daryl Dulaney has
been named as his replacement. Dulaney will become the COO
of the company on Oct. 1 before taking over the president
and CEO positions to start 2005.

Dulaney’s responsibilities as COO will entail handling day-
to-day operations, overseeing the marketing strategies and
growth plans of the company’s diverse portfolio of building
automation, HVAC products, fire safety, security systems,
and energy solutions and services.

Both Dulaney and Kunka said in a press release they are
confident the company will not feel any adverse affects
from the transition. Until Dulaney’s position change, he
will remain in his current role as president of Siemens
Building Technologies’ Building Automation division.
