Siemens Building Technologies Inc. (SBT), a provider of fire safety and security systems, announces it was selected to install a digital CCTV solution in CityNAP, a newly constructed 10,000-square-foot Internet hub and data center based in San Antonio. CityNAP provides businesses of all sizes with environmentally controlled and secure storage collocation with redundant power systems.
SBT implemented an end-to-end security solution that integrates digital video surveillance and intercom with an access control system across the facility’s high-speed data network. The solution features digital video surveillance based on IPVision software and IQinVision megapixel cameras, plus an Aiphone IP intercom system and HID readers. The IPVision console enables CityNAP to monitor the facility’s network of cameras from one or more locations. The entire security system is integrated across the building’s high-speed data network.
