Siemens White Paper Focuses on Anti-Terrorism Standards
BUFFALO GROVE, Ill.
Siemens Building Technologies Inc., Security Solutions Business Unit, has released a white paper to assist chemical facilities navigating the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) regulations imposed by the Department of Homeland Security.
“Navigating CFATS: Understanding the Regulations to Achieve Optimal Security” highlights how working with a security integrator can help chemical facilities achieve regulatory compliance, while also positively impacting the facility’s bottom line.
“We are all treading on new ground when it comes to CFATS,” says Phil Atteberry, business development manager for Chemical Security at Siemens. “We published this paper as guidance to end-users who are sorting through all the requirements. When it comes to their physical security requirements, our message is that they don’t have to do it alone. An expert security integrator can help.”
Atteberry, who authored the white paper, said the focus is on the challenges that facilities face as they work toward compliance.
