Signal Energy Selects AISG to Secure Two Solar Generating Facilities in Calif.

COLLEGE POINT, N.Y. – After completing the implementation of an integrated security platform at Tranquility Solar Generating facility in Fresno, Calif., American Integrated Security Group’s critical Infrastructure group has begun working on a similar project at Garland Solar Farm in Mojave, Calif.
Both of the sophisticated projects were awarded to AISG by Signal Energy, a design/build contractor that provides engineering, procurement and construction services for renewable energy and infrastructure projects across North America.
“AISG has provided security for alternative energy sites totaling in excess of three gigawatts,” says AISG Director of Sales, Critical Infrastructure, Michael Bennett. “Our system is completely off the grid, self-sufficient. Both communication and power are all provided at the edge eliminating trenching or third parties to complete.”
Spanning thousands of acres and more than 100,000 linear feet of fence each, Tranquility and Garland rank among the largest solar production facilities in the world. AISG incorporates technologies from Aiphone, Avigilon, Axis Communications, Davantis, FLIR and Wavestore to create a seamless and comprehensive security platform with uninterrupted power production, according to the company.
