SILENT WITNESS REVEALS NET INCOME JUMPED 41% IN THE 1st FISCAL QUARTER

Silent Witness Enterprises Ltd.  announces its unaudited financial results for the first fiscal quarter ended Oct. 31, 1999 show revenues increased by 38 percent to $10.6 million (Canadian) from the same period in 1998.  Net income (after taxes) rose 41 percent to $1.3 million from the same time frame in 1998.  This represents basic EPS of 21 cents or fully diluted EPS of 19 cents for the three-month period.  EPS figures for the same period in 1998 were 15 cents and 14 cents, respectively.  Silent Witness is a technology company that produces innovative surveillance cameras for global markets.  Approximately 85 percent of its sales come from established distribution channels in the United States and Western Europe.
