WESTMINSTER, Mass. — The National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA), a national public service agency, has awarded SimplexGrinnell, a Tyco business, a contract allowing the firm to offer simplified procurement of its products and services to 50,000 government and educational entities.
The agreement allows public entity members to purchase SimplexGrinnell’s fire/life-safety equipment through a competitively bid cooperative national contract. The NJPA contract covers the full SimplexGrinnell portfolio of fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, integrated security, sound and communications, and nurse call systems and services.
“We are very excited to give our members comprehensive, streamlined access to SimplexGrinnell’s fire and life-solutions,” says Tom Perttula, NJPA contract manager. “Partnering with SimplexGrinnell will save NJPA members time and money when procuring fire and life-safety products and services.”
