SimplexGrinnell, NFSA Co-Sponsor Courses on Life-Safety Systems for AHJs

WESTMINSTER, Mass. — Fire/life-safety solution provider SimplexGrinnell and the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) will co-sponsor a series of life-safety education seminars addressing inspection, testing and maintenance requirements for fire sprinkler systems.

Targeted to authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), the one-day seminars will be conducted during the next six months in 10 major cities across the United States and Canada.

NFSA staff members will present the courses that will cover the administrative and corrective chapters of NFPA 25: Standard for the Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems. The goal of the seminars is to provide AHJs with insight and guidance on developing and administering effective NFPA 25 enforcement programs.

“We’re proud to team up with NFSA in sponsoring this focused training,” SimplexGrinell Vice President of Marketing Dave Baer says. “We work side by side with AHJs every day to help customers comply with applicable codes and standards. By enhancing the understanding and enforcement of NFPA 25, we are helping to advance the critical role that fire sprinklers play in protecting life and property.”
