AUSTIN, Texas – Smarter Security Systems, a provider of intelligent entrance control and outdoor security solutions, had its Fastlane GlassGate 200 optical turnstile featured in the robot-themed motion picture Surrogates.
“Lobby security is only growing in importance and optical turnstiles are a key part of the equation,” says Jeff Brown, president of Smarter Security Systems.
GlassGate 200 appears in a critical scene in the movie as it provides security for a business office area. The turnstile incorporates a four-foot high glass gate with stainless steel pedestals with a small footprint that fits in the limited spaces. Outside of the motion-picture world, architects, end users and security consultants have selected GlassGate turnstiles.
Smarter Security recently highlighted its line at ASIS Int’l, held Sept. 21-24 in Anaheim, Calif., including the Fastlane Plus barrier arm turnstiles; optical turnstiles such as ClearStyle; and two varieties of Fastlane speedgates, GlassWing and GlassGate.
