Software Firm Selects Alco’s Access System

Published: August 31, 2000

Recently, ParkStone Medical Information Systems Inc., a provider of software to the medical industry based in Weston, Fla., selected Alco Advanced Technologies’ Intelli-M system to control varying degrees of access for its employees in the company’s 20,000-square-foot facility.
Because of the limited space to house central control equipment, the client chose the Intelli-M system. Its miniaturized door controller provided access control on one twisted pair. The controller measures 1.7 inches wide X 2.8 inches high, and weighs 3.7 ounces. The system is scalable up to 32,000 readers.
