Software House of Westford, Mass., a Tyco Int’l company, unveils its iSTAR Edge two-reader IP device, which has earned UL 294B, UL 294 and UL 1076 listings.
The product offers an optional PoE plug-in module featuring the latest PoE Plus standard, IEEE 802.3at. The module provides ample power for two doors and associated readers, locks and exit devices over a standard CAT-5/6 network cable, the company says.
