Continental Access, a NAPCO Security Group company, of Amityville, N.Y., announces the CardAccess 3000 (CA3000), a full-featured access control software program designed to integrate with cutting-edge security technologies. The system will accommodate single portal, standalone applications and enterprise-level systems using MSDE/MSSQL database management technology.
Using MSDE/MSSQL database technology with the CA3000 software makes system architecture more scalable. It also provides open database information sharing with CA ExchangeDB import and export features, thus making Continental Access’ access control system easier to operate and more versatile.
According to the company, the software provides a seamless operating platform to integrate access control, monitoring, DVR/NVR management, visitor management, time and attendance, and payroll functions. The system will also interface access control with photo badging and import/export utilities, along with an expanding integration capability with the NAPCO GEM alarm panel. The system relies on open API support.
