The new MasterView-X software by ELMO of Plainview, N.Y., makes it possible to view, manage and control several network-based video camera systems from a single point. End users can manage and analyze content obtained from multiple local and network-controlled camera systems as well as archive video and still images as needed.
According to ELMO, the new MasterView-X “watches” incoming video, alerting someone when an event has taken place. A software enhancer also makes it possible for the camera to reproduce images with daytime clarity even when taken in pitch, dark surroundings.
