Sonitrol Acquires Philadelphia Dealership
BERWYN, Pa.
Sonitrol Corp. announced it has acquired the territory and operating rights of its Philadelphia dealership, Sonitrol Philadelphia. Under the acquisition, Sonitrol will have access to Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties in Southeastern Pennsylvania; and Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties in Southern New Jersey.
“The Philadelphia market presents a great opportunity for our direct selling operations,” said Kevin Dowd, Sonitrol chairman and CEO. “This acquisition expands our national footprint and allows Sonitrol to increase its sales and services coverage seven-fold in the region.”
Kathleen Covaleskie, general manager of the Philadelphia dealership, was appointed as regional operations manager for Sonitrol’s new territories. John Rausch, regional sales manager, Sonitrol mid-Atlantic region, will oversee sales.
