Sonitrol’s Orlando branch has reported a record month for apprehensions in May. Orlando area police, with the video and audio assistance of Sonitrol, were able to apprehend 33 suspects in 11 school break-ins.
Because Sonitrol uses audio and video verification, Sonitrol says its operators were able to give police an accurate description of the crime in progress as well as the suspects.
Meanwhile, Sonitrol’s headquarters in Berwyn reports the company as a whole is in strong financial shape and announced a new $135 million credit facility. Sonitrol indicated in a press release that it plans to use this cash infusion for future acquisitions.
