Sony Electronics introduces the IPELA® Security Solutions Partner (SSP) program, an online service designed to provide vendors with information on how best to integrate Sony’s IP-based cameras. SSP was introduced at the recent ASIS show in San Diego.
The program brings together an assortment of vendors and manufacturers from the security industry. Represented are firms that make or provide software, digital and network video recorders, access control, wireless solutions, remote monitoring services and integrated security management products.
Sony’s program provides in-depth product information, technical support, marketing updates, client testimonials, as well as news about upcoming events. Qualified members also receive existing and advance IPELA security product samples for evaluation, plus discount purchase options for the demo units.
Yoshi Hirano, Sony Electronics’ senior marketing manager for security products, says that the program fosters a community among security vendors, service providers, value-added resellers and system integrators.
“The SSP program is about Sony’s commitment to helping clients grow their business through working together, sharing their expertise with others, and by learning of our latest security technology to advance their offerings,” Hirano adds.
Charter SSP participants include such security system vendors as Genetec, On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. and D3Data.
