SAN DIEGO — When Marines and Sailors get ready to embark on overseas deployments from Miramar air station in San Diego, they often have to wait long hours before boarding their military transport plane. What is already a flight spanning at least 10 hours is compounded by upwards of seven hours of down time.

Check out some images from the Rotary Club’s production of the Deployment Packages. Allie and Jaclyn Levine were instrumental in gathering much of the contents of the packages.
