And the winner is … Peak Alarm. The Salt Lake City-based
alarm company was the only
multiple-award winner at the
10th Annual TARGET=’_blank’>SAMMY (Sales and Marketing) Awards on
April 5, including winning a grand prize for Integrated
Marketing Program of the Year.
Peak Alarm also received an award for Best Radio/Television
advertisement.
The early evening awards ceremony and industry gathering at
the Venetian Casino Resort didn’t just belong to Peak
Alarm – it also belonged to the 10 other companies that
also won SAMMY awards on the eve of the International
Security Conference (ISC) West, as well as the dozens more
companies that were finalists and the more than 100 that
entered this year’s competition.
Digatron of Denver took home the prize for Integrated
Commercial/Industrial Installation of the Year for its work
on Denver’s new Colorado Convention Center. Digatron
integrated access control, alarm monitoring, intercom and
full-motion CCTV recording at the convention center.
The award for Integrated Residential Installation of the
Year went
to Watervliet, N.Y.’s Imperial Security Systems.
