SECURITY SALES & INTEGRATION has been named as a finalist in the Western Publishing Association (WPA) Maggie Awards program, including a nomination in the Best Non-Paid Trade magazine category. SSI was also nominated for Most Improved Publication/Trade.
SSI is a former Maggie winner and has been named as a finalist in the editorial excellence awards program for six consecutive years.
Judges selected SSI’s 2008 March issue, which featured “Breaking Through the Glass Ceiling,” an in-depth look at the strides women have made in advancing their careers in the electronic security industry. The issue also presented a comprehensive demographic study of North America’s installing companies in “Portrait of a Security Pro.”
Campus Safety Magazine, SSI’s sister publication, was also named a finalist in the Best Public Safety Trade category. The magazines are published by Bobit Business Media.
Winners of the 58th Annual Maggie Awards will be announced on April 24 during a ceremony held at the Westin Hotel at Los Angeles Airport.
