SSI Spotlights Sales & Marketing Best Practices at 17th Annual SAMMY Awards

LAS VEGAS — Joined by many electronic security professionals from throughout North America, SECURITY SALES & INTEGRATION hosted the 17th Annual SAMMY Awards on Tuesday at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. Each year the event honors some of the industry’s top sales, marketing, business and installation practices.

The evening also included the SSI Hall of Fame induction ceremony emceed by Ron Davis. The class of 2012 includes Ted Geiszler, John Mabry, Joe Nuccio, Pam Petrow and Ron Rothman.

Nine companies were awarded SAMMY trophies in 13 sales and marketing categories. Among the top award categories, New York-based Electronic Security and Communications Corp. received the Integrated Installation of the Year award. Bates Security of Lexington, Ky., claimed the Installer of the Year for small to midsize companies, while Per Mar Security Services of Davenport, Iowa, earned Installer of the Year for large companies.
