Security Sales & Integration will make its mark on 2007’s International Security Conference (ISC) West with plenty of trophies and honors to hand out. Dealers, integrators and other alarm industry professionals will converge on Las Vegas March 28-30 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center for the 39th edition of ISC West to talk shop and see the latest the industry has to offer.
The night before the big gathering kicks off, SSI will play host to its 12th annual SAMMYs (Sales and Marketing) Awards. The Venetian Hotel and Resort’s Casanova Conference Room 601 will serve as the setting for top alarm industry professionals to pay tribute to the best of the best. The event is free to anyone seeking to attend, with free hors d’oeuvres to be served.
In addition to handing out SAMMY trophies for honors such as Web Site Design, Integrated Residential Installation of the Year and Integrated Commercial/Industrial Installation of the Year, SSI will also present Brink’s Home Security with the 2nd Annual Police Dispatch Quality (PDQ) Award. The PDQ distinction is awarded for showing excellence and commitment in reducing false alarms.
SSI will also enshrine its three latest Hall of Fame inductees, Norma Beaubien, Charlie Darsch and Harvey Eisenstadt, at the SAMMY gala. The trio of distinguished industry legends was featured in the February issue of SSI.
On the ISC West floor, SSI technical guru Bob Dolph will once again scour the booths to compile the latest information for his “Tech Talk” column as well as get a start on sorting out his picks for SSI‘s year-end Top 30 top products of 2007. In fact, all of SSI‘s editors and other staff members will be circulating in full force throughout the ISC Event, meeting with industry professionals, snapping photos and taking in all the show has to offer for future editorial.
