Bobit Business Media (BBM) announces it has hired John Lacasale as the new publisher of Security Sales & Integration, effective March 22. He replaces Mike Zawinski, who had served as SSI‘s publisher since July 2001. Lacasale, who will work out of Bobit’s Torrance, Calif., headquarters, will make his first industry appearance in his new role at the ISC West show in Las Vegas next week.
Lacasale is a familiar name to the electronic security industry as he spent four years heading up sales in the eastern United States for two print and online security media properties. He also gained a solid knowledge of publishing management while working for large media companies in the high tech field.
