DELTONA, Fla.—SS&Si Dealer Network, has announced the acquisition of certain assets of FAST Security Distribution, the distribution arm of First Action Security Team, Inc.
With roots dating back to 1975, FAST has spent five decades supporting the success of independent alarm dealers across the country, and SS&Si states the newly announced strategic acquisition brings together two organizations with shared missions—empowering dealers through reliable product access, personalized support, and value-added services. As part of the transaction, SS&Si has hired the FAST Security Distribution team to ensure seamless continuity of service and preserve the strong dealer relationships FAST has built over the years.

Combined SS&Si Dealer Network and FAST Resources Supports More Dealers
The acquisition expands SS&Si’s branch footprint, which now includes Deltona, Fla., Huntsville, Ala., Tulsa, Okla., and Hagerstown, Md. SS&Si asserts that with these strategically located facilities it now offers one- to two-day ground shipping to over 80% of the U.S. population to enhance its reach and responsiveness.
As part of the acquisition FAST dealers will also gain access to SS&Si’s suite of value-added services, including its private labeling and branding program. Dealers can benefit from options such as free logo printing on preferred products with no minimum order quantity, which SS&Si suggests helps to boost brand visibility and customer loyalty.
