DELTONA, Fla. – National fire and security products distributor SS&Si Dealer Network recently announced the launch of the 2026 Kidde Commercial for Kids Program, a purpose-driven initiative supporting Embers of Hope Burn Foundation’s Burn Camp in Micanopy, Fla.

Through this program, SS&Si will donate 10% of its gross profit from Kidde Commercial fire alarm product sales in 2026, up to $10,000, to Embers of Hope. Kidde Commercial has agreed to match SS&Si’s donation, effectively doubling the potential impact for young burn survivors, the joint announcement says.

Embers of Hope provides a free multi-day camp experience for children who have survived burn injuries. The camp “creates a safe, empowering environment where survivors build confidence, form peer connections, and engage in activities designed to promote healing and resilience,” according to the joint announcement.

The organization is led by Rebekah Johnson, co-founder and executive director and burn survivor, who also serves as executive director for the Florida Fire Sprinkler Association and regional coordinator for Florida and Puerto Rico with the International Fire Sprinkler Association.

Why is SS&Si Teaming with Embers of Hope?

“The fire protection industry is built around protecting lives,” says Jake Voll, president of SS&Si Dealer Network, in the joint announcement. “The Kidde Commercial for Kids Program allows us to extend that mission beyond prevention and detection. Every Kidde Commercial product sold through SS&Si in 2026 will help support children whose lives have been directly impacted by fire. We’re proud to align our growth with real community impact.”

The initiative “reflects a natural alignment between fire protection manufacturing, distribution leadership and survivor support,” according to the joint announcement.

When integrators choose Kidde Commercial products through SS&Si, they are “not only selecting trusted life safety solutions, [but] they are [also] contributing to a measurable and meaningful cause,” the announcement says.

“We are incredibly grateful for SS&Si’s commitment and Kidde Commercial’s willingness to match their donation,” says Johnson in the joint announcement. “Programs like this strengthen the fire safety community and help us continue providing life-changing experiences for young burn survivors.”

Throughout 2026, SS&Si will provide milestone updates as the program progresses toward its donation goal and will continue promoting awareness of Embers of Hope within the fire protection and integrator community.

The Kidde Commercial for Kids Program “demonstrates how growth and generosity can move together — reinforcing the fire protection industry’s commitment not only to prevention but also to long-term healing and hope,” the joint announcement says.
