Stanley Security Solutions Inc. of Noblesville, Ind., has partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis for its sixth straight year.
More than 80 Stanley employees volunteered their time to build exterior wall panels for a new home that is being constructed for a local resident and her family. Stanley also provided and installed a security system in the new home. Construction of the home began in early September, followed by a ceremonial dedication in October.
“It’s an honor to partner with such a great organization like Habitat for Humanity,” says Justin Boswell, president of Stanley Mechanical Access Solutions. “It is important for us to give back to our community, and our employees truly enjoy the time they get to spend volunteering on the build projects.”
Stanley was also the presenting sponsor for the third year at the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis Golf Outing, and provided tool set raffle prizes in support of the organization.
“Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis has been blessed to have a wonderful partnership with Stanley Security Solutions for six years,” says Sheila Carlson, development community relations coordinator for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis. “Not only do they sponsor a home and allow their employees to volunteer on builds, they also donate tools to Habitat, which are greatly appreciated and needed.”
Last year, Stanley was a runner-up for a SAMMY Award in the Community Outreach Program category.
