CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Status Solutions, a provider of enterprise situational awareness technologies, has bestowed Northeast Protection Partners (NEPPS) with its U.S. Channel Partner of the Year honor. The award highlights NEPPS’ relationship with Status Solutions and its sales leadership in 2014.

NEPPS is a Pennsylvania-based installation and services company that provides end-to-end security solutions for health-care customers, including more than 400 hospitals and senior living communities throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Washington, D.C.

NEPPS offers electronic access, asset tracking, surveillance, anti-abduction and anti-wander systems, and the company integrates Status Solutions’ Situational Awareness and Response Assistant (SARA), an automated alerting engine.

“Our partnership with Status Solutions enables us to add a great deal of value to our clients with situational awareness and response management,” says Brian McGinley, president of NEPPS. “Using SARA to integrate alarm and communication systems for centralized monitoring, alerting and reporting gives customers the opportunity to respond to unfolding safety and security threats more quickly. That’s an additional layer of protection we’re pleased to provide.”

“The stronger our channel program, the more organizations we can help get strategic about risk management by using situational awareness to protect people, property and business operations,” says Mike MacLeod, Status Solutions’ president. “Then we also have more time and resources to concentrate on technology enhancements and broadening our portfolio with complementary solutions like CATIE, which stands for Communication and Access To Information Everywhere, a communication and self-service solution for hospitality environments, from senior living communities to hotels and resorts.”

The health-care industry is becoming increasingly more competitive with both hospitals and senior living providers having to up their games in terms of services and amenities, McGinley says.

“Adopting situational awareness and response management through SARA and in-room self-service through CATIE would help these clients better manage their data and content to ensure better care and service,” he says. “We appreciate that Status Solutions is really trying to make a difference and are glad to be on their team.”
