Waterford, Mich.-based Safety Technology Int’l (STI) releases the wireless garage Sentry alert (STI-34300), which offers a range of up to 1,000 feet. The product features a battery-operated sensor and a four-channel receiver.
The sensor sends a wireless radio signal to the receiver, allowing the product to alert users when a garage door is opened or closed. A magnetic contact with an 18-inch lead is also included for irregular installations, according to the company.
Additionally, the company’s eight-channel receiver (STI-34108) can be triggered from eight individual alert sites. It also has a range of up to 1,000 feet and is supervised for low battery and connection. The device has dual antennas for increased signal strength and offers a mirroring function, which works with up to four additional receivers.
