Supreme Security Systems Merges With CAT Alarm Systems

Published: July 24, 2007

Supreme Security Systems, an independent, full-service electronic security provider in New Jersey, announces it has merged with CAT Alarm Systems Inc., an alarm company serving business and residential customers.

Established in 1970, CAT Alarm was owned and operated by Irwin and Susan Dunsky. The company had 1,000 customers who are now being serviced by Supreme Security. Irwin Dunsky will stay on with Supreme Security concentrating on sales and customer acquisition.

“With 1,000 customers, this merger significantly expands our footprint in New Jersey,” says Robert Bitton, CEO of Supreme Security. “Supreme has always concentrated on providing superior service in our local market and we plan to extend that tradition to CAT’s former customers.”

Supreme Security has offered alarm system installation to commercial and residential customers since 1929. In 1947, it was awarded a listing by UL to install certificated burglar alarm systems. Today, Supreme serves more than 10,000 customers in the Tri-State area. This is the most recent of many mergers and acquisitions in Supreme Security’s history. The company owns and operates its own central monitoring station in Union, N.J.
