“As the largest privately owned alarm company in the State of New Jersey, we look forward to providing Homeguard Alarm Systems customers with the same level of service and integrity that they have enjoyed from Homeguard Alarm,” Bitton said in a prepared statement. “On behalf of our many dedicated, highly-skilled employees, we pledge the very best in providing for all your security needs.”

Supreme Security Systems “exceeded our hopes for a firm we could combine with to continue the tradition we have for excellent service,” said Homeguard Alarm Systems President Linda Berbrick. “This is a merger of two professional companies which have a history of successfully working together. We hold similar values and philosophies for doing business, with an emphasis on honesty and integrity.”

Homeguard specializes in the installation and maintenance of the Honeywell product line. Its portfolio of services includes intrusion and fire/life-safety alarms, video surveillance, access control, PERS, home theater and more.

Homeguard customers will experience no interruption in their alarm monitoring service, and none of the changes associated with the transition will affect the operation of the alarm systems, according to the press statement.

Steve Rubin of Davis Mergers & Acquisitions Group assisted Homeguard in the sale of the company.
