In this week’s Top Surveillance Videos…

There are many people out there that don’t have a security system because they believe their dog is enough of a deterrent. This video proves why that isn’t completely true.

While we would like to believe our dog(s) will protect us from intruders, how confident are you that they won’t start wagging their tails and give sloppy kisses at the first sign of an intruder like this great dane?

Surveillance video shows a man open a door before being greeted by the giant dog. He starts petting it and appears to quickly be accepted by the dog.

Shortly after, the homeowner appears and starts screaming. That’s when the dog realizes its new friend might not actually be so friendly. The dog begins attacking the intruder until he flees the home.

In this case, it was fortunate the homeowner was home and the dog immediately realized something was wrong. But what if she wasn’t? Who knows how much the bandit would have made off with.

A would-be shoplifter picked the wrong Best Buy to steal from. Surveillance video from a store in Hawaii shows a man bolt for the door while holding a pricey portable speaker.

Unfortunately for him, he probably wasn’t expecting to get pummeled by the woman working as an asset protection specialist. She blocks the man from leaving and shoves him away from the door before backup arrives.

Make sure to check out the rest of this week’s top surveillance videos which include a prison brawl, a storm destroying a school building and more.
