In this week’s Top Surveillance Videos…

I frequently mention how much I despise irresponsible drivers and people that steal or hurt pets. Another thing you can add to that list is terrible people that use their children in their misdeeds.

A woman was caught on camera using her child to smuggle drugs into Rikers Island for her prison boyfriend.

The footage shows the woman holding her young child in her lap before putting something in her diaper. She then passes the child over to her boyfriend.

The boyfriend reaches into the child’s diaper and then pulls something out before putting it in his jumpsuit.

Guards, likely watching a live stream of the video, would eventually enter the room with a drug sniffing dog and handcuff the inmate.

Also this week…

Here’s a good example of the importance of having a camera with two-way communication. The owner of a cafe was on vacation 4,000 miles away when he received a motion notification on his phone.

He tells the burglar, “I can see you in there,” which sends him scurrying out of the building.
