Former Denver Broncos defensive end Quanterus Smith was caught leading Georgia police on a high speed chase after allegedly stealing 10 iPhones and over $500 at gunpoint from an AT&T store.

Smith has been charged with armed robbery, felony fleeing and attempting to elude, misdemeanor theft by receiving and possession of a handgun while committing a felony, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Smith last played in the NFL in April 2014 for the Broncos. The team released him in April 2015.
He has since played on practice squads for New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars.
NBC Sports says he was looking to revitalize his career prospects this year, but it looks like those dreams have now been dashed.
