Everybody loves shark week, but a trio of aquatic thieves in San Antonio took their obsession a little too far.

Surveillance video from the San Antonio Aquarium shows them making off with a horn shark in a baby stroller.

Watch the footage!

Planning for the caper began a month prior when one of the suspects claimed to be an employee of the aquarium’s salt supplier. He was given a “behind-the-scenes tour” of the facility.

On the day of the abduction, surveillance footage shows the shark being scooped up, wrapped in a towel and placed in a stroller.

The thieves make their way to the parking lot and put the shark in their truck, but before they can leave they are confronted by a manager.

She asks to look inside the truck but they refuse. Lucky for the shark, it would eventually be rescued thanks to the help of solid police work. You can read the whole story on the aquarium’s Facebook page.

Also this week…

First, there were exploding hoverboards. Then, exploding phones. Now? Exploding electric scooters. A surveillance camera from inside a home in China caught the moment a charging electric scooter begins to smoke. The quick-acting dad scoops up his daughter and leaves the room right before it explodes.
