Police in Texas had a rough day last Saturday after taking their eyes off of a suspect in the back of a cruiser.
33-year-old Toscha Sponsler was arrested for shoplifting and placed in the back of a police cruiser, where she then proceeded to escape from her handcuffs, squeeze through a partition, crawl into the front seat and take off with the vehicle.
A combination of body cameras and dash cams caught the whole incident unfold.

Also this week…
It wouldn’t be compilation of surveillance videos without at least one convenience store robbery. However, this may be one of the most impressive acts of store clerk heroism you’ve ever seen.
Two masked suspects armed with a pickax walk into the store. After complying at first, the store clerk then begins to fight back. He removes the mask of one suspect and at one point, has a grip on both of them at the same time.
The clerk eventually leaves the store, only to barricade the suspects inside until police can arrive. It’s honestly an exciting video and you’ll want to watch every second of it.
