NEW YORK — SecureWatch24 (SW24), based here, announces the formation of a new enterprise level systems division headed by industry veteran Nino Zeccardo. The new division will be geared toward expanding SW24’s national footprint and consolidating its recent affiliation as a Genetec Resource Partner for the Northeast United States.
Along with the new sales division, SW24 will be open a new central station in the coming months to support the firm’s growth strategies, which include national and government accounts, says Des Smyth, SW24 president and founder.
“As we looked at our sales strategy over the next five years, it was clear that we needed to build a chain account, government sales entity that can concentrate on high-end integrated, LAN-based, enterprise level applications,” Smyth says.
Nino, who has founded two integration companies and most recently was vice president of business development for MSE Corporate Security, will work to build out the sales and service organization.
Smyth says SW24 is continuing to move aggressively into new markets by investing in technology and “competing head-on against the major security industry players.” The company also recently announced a plan to enter the residential market this year.
