NEW YORK CITY – SW24 Security has received Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certification for meeting all requirements under the UL Standard for Central Station Alarm Service (CPVX/CVSG) for intrusion alarm monitoring, service and guard response. The certification was awarded to the company’s SW24 Fusion Centre, a technologically-advanced 25,000-square-foot monitoring facility.

The certification is a major step in the company’s goal to be a nationwide provider of enterprise-level security services, especially for commercial establishments that require specialized installation, monitoring and guard response services such as businesses in the jewelry district of mid-town Manhattan.

“We are especially pleased to join the ranks of approximately 50 central stations in the U.S. that have this highly-prized UL listing,” says Peter Goldring, SW24 vice president.

SW24 Security has strategically located its guard response unit directly in mid-town Manhattan in order to reduce response time, Goldring says.  “We aim to be even better than the UL standard for guard response – our goal is to exceed all standards throughout the operation,” he says.
