Richard Roberts, industry affairs manager for System Sensor and Honeywell Life Safety, will provide the latest updates on carbon monoxide (CO) detection state legislation and regulatory mandates, including recent International Code Council (ICC) actions for the 2012 edition of the International Fire Code (IFC) and International Residential Code (IRC). He will also recap many of the key changes to the 2009 edition of NFPA 720.
Roberts has spent more than 20 years in all aspects of the fire alarm and security market. His experience includes the installation, sales, and system design/commissioning of code-compliant commercial fire alarm systems, the distribution of the equipment as well as product management and industry affairs experience with a leading manufacturer.
