ST. CHARLES, Ill. — System Sensor has developed several free online tools and training options to help engineers, dealers and installers stay up to date on the current state of carbon monoxide (CO) detector codes and legislation.
“The CO detection landscape is constantly changing, so it can be very difficult to keep up, but knowing the codes and laws can be a big advantage for our customers,” says Richard Roberts, industry affairs manager, System Sensor and Honeywell Life Safety. “So we developed tools and training to help.”
Customers can use the interactive map to get the details of state CO laws. Users simply click on a state for existing legislation and links to other important information. Additionally, a summary of state CO legislation can be downloaded and printed from the System Sensor Web site.
Users can also view an archived Webinar, “Carbon Monoxide Detection: Code and Legislation Updates,” or take the CO online training module and quiz for free at www.systemsensor.com/training.
