System Sensor Publishes Guide for Fire Sprinkler Monitoring Systems
ST. CHARLES, Ill.
System Sensor has released a guide that provides an overview of the various types of fire sprinkler systems and the procedures for specifying, installing and selecting the appropriate system for a specific environment.
Titled “Fire Sprinkler Systems Monitoring,” the application guide references information and diagrams showing the four basic sprinkler systems that detect, control, suppress and extinguish fires. The publication also provides information for operation, product placement, testing and maintenance of devices such as water flow detectors, supervisory switches, pressure switches, alarm bells and horn/strobes.
The guide lists basic requirements of existing standards from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the International Building Code (IBC) and the International Fire Code (IFC).
